    Good luck Mark I think you have the right attitude. My view is that even in the worst case scenario where the uber bears tout a 50% collapse if you have chosen your property right then the so called collapse won't be anywhere near as bad - my guess is more like 20 to 30% max for the cheaper areas but I don't think it will be anywhere near as bad as that as despite suburb snobbery the cheaper suburbs will always be in demand. Also if you have a long term investment time frame then it won't matter much what happens over the short term anyway as you will be a winner over the long term. As always there are risks in any sort of investing whether it is a business, shares or property it is just about understanding those risks, identifying the mitigations and what you are willing to accept.
