More to the point, there have been three significant price rallies in the stock in the last 18 month which your chart neatly illustrates.
1. rally of circa 18c off a 12/03/2019 low of 22c. This rally was spurred by an announcement on 13/03/2019 concerning the companies further engagement by HSBC 2. rally of circa 19c off a 23/09/2019 low of 15c. This rally was spurred by the announcement on 26/09/2019 that Identitii was selected by ACCC to Test Open Banking Data. I further note that the rally started 3 days before the announcement was made... 3. rally of circa 12c off an early november low of 16c. This rally was spurred by announcement on 13/11/2019 of Symphony and Identitii Partnership
In summary, yes i do think its odd that the SP has rallied 100% in the space of a week (equally the sharpest increase in percentage terms since the stock has listed). And further to that, I find it quite hard to believe it is simply because the stock is tightly held as you suggest.
