Sure, it is great news, you are correct. We will see if they are affected by some environmental concerns (e.g. drinking water). It can be hard in Austria sometimes - for example they tried to build a HV connection to stabilize the power grid in carinthia, i think started 3 years ago. They built only the masts, then some activists delayed to project until this year.
I would know a bit, because I live less than 100 km from where the mine will be.
