It really is a huge step to try to bring 1.2bn people in to such a system but what an opportunity it creates. What is amazing is that they will probably succeed, and quickly ... for example, they already have over 1bn of the population in the National ID Scheme (Aadhaar) and that is less than 6 years old.
No wonder the Data Centres are critical to TSI ... the sheer volume of transactions is enormous so reliable infrastructure is crucial (and I understand the Mphasis system runs outside of the existing Indian infrastructure so is secure and reliable).

The next Operations Update should be fascinating .... and I still think it will be very soon as they will want to release it before the road shows IMO.
