"NuSep Signs Letter of Intent with United Laboratories to Invest in Singapore & Philippines Plasma Facilities"

It sounded very promising, 2 years ago.
A quick search on the Unilab website finds not a single reference to NuSep. Can we assume that it has been another wasted opportunity or did Unilab find that there is some critical problem with the management or more scarily, is there something wrong with the technology?
