Unilife Medical has $11m turnaround profit
Unilife Medical Solutions Ltd reported an $11 million net profit in the half-year to December 31, 2008 compared with a previous $4.6 million loss. Sales revenue was up 42.8% to $2.7 million.
EPS was 5c.
Cash was up from $5.7 million to $10.9 million.
Chairman Jim Bosnjak said the profit was due to a $16.4 million upfront fee received for the 5-year exclusive rights to the Unilife prefilled syringe.
Unilife says it will focus on streamlining its global business activities to support industrialisation of its prefilled syringe.
