Opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one.
How best to use one’s money is far best, on average, left to the individual who earns it.
The best use of money has to balance current need against future need, the risk of theft of the savings, ROI, life expectancy, current opportunity, etc, etc...
The temptation for authorities to think they know better than the individual should be resisted. It isn’t their money.
Personally I would recommend that anyone under 40 contribute the minimum and withdraw the maximum. It is very probable that the government will steal all super balances before the young can get them. Every year the government changes the rules on what they regard as a “national resource”.
