You should really grow up if you want an adult discussion.
CPA is a union as much as Chartered Accountants. The fact that you have to be a member to do accounts and give audit opinions is to ensure that the work done is at a professional level. As well you know. But if you are are brilliant accountant but don't want to join a union, you cannot give an Audit opinion. full stop.
And your comment about the plumbers only shows that you are posting on an ideological basis.
Why should not plumbers who have to study and pass more exams than accountants not want to ensure that plumbing work is done to a required standard?
Or is it because you perceive plumbers to be a trade and actuarials as professional that upsets you?
