lets see what would happen if ceo's maximum pay could only be 25 x the lowest paid workers within that company based on a 40 hour working week.
Many companies hide profits or pay there taxes in other countries. fake loan deals etc.
Many companies control a group of companies the group makes huge profits but they try to justify no pay increases or reductions for one area that is underperforming.
If you can't pay your staff it is simple that your business model is flawed. (ie 6 coffee shops in one street).
As for the Auto industry all countries subsidize it. buy a car from OS all the money goes out. If it's made in OZ it all stays here. except for what the GMC,Ford can sneak out.
The factory i worked for was given land and 10 years with no tax, to set up in Wha Hoo China. (cherry motor co)
Same as build sub's build them here yep may cost more but it all goes into our system buy them from OS all the money has gone.
