What a great extension for sharing thoughts on how we believe the industry should be structured. ?
It was great to see so many companies represented at the the first MUA meeting and I hope this will assist everyone in further networking for our industry.
I for one am tired of the inequalities which exist offshore between all rival industries and our own. ?If nothing is done about bridging this gap in the near future, we are likely to be continued to be left behind and stories of unskilled?labor?receiving wages higher than the prime minister will be our own damn fault.

So please get off your hands and do something about it!! ?The wheels are in motion and here is some food for thought,

Trainees not included as manned levels ? they are extra person per shift or??xtra day rate if it is a personnel plus only trainee
?Manned levels for type of work set in agreement,?eg site survey 6 personnel, rig move 2 personnel, acoustic rig 3 personnel so client can?t say sorry no bed room
Gym membership paid for onshore (offshore no rec/gym at times)
??Full health cover paid by company for yourself and family
Compensation for loss of personal items
Day rooms for transit longer than 6 hours between flight
Flights to/from closest airport to home not city

This initiative is being headed by the field crews from Neptune, following cutbacks.
I seriously doubt this will help the plight of Neptune
