There is an excellent article in today's Australian by Grace Collier in which she puts her finger on the source of corrupt union power;
It is police collaboration in extortion.
If a group of people block a road into a business or building site they are breaking the law. If they are non unionists the police will remove them. If they are unionists the police will not.
What gives police the right to allow one group of extortionists the right to break the law? This is not Chicago in 1930.
