BH, why do people always jump to the defence of execs beng able to exponentially increase their salaries?

It is a HUGE problem in the USA. OUTRAGEOUS increases in exec salaries over the last twenty or so years... unrealistic share prices based on outrageous valuations, debt... sweeping future liabilities under the carpet.... and the gall of some of these guys arguing (after many were implicit in the financial collapse) that they should continue to be able to get ridiculous salaries so they can be retained... retained to sort out the mess they helped create... OR ride off into the sunset with their saddle bags bulging, leaving the little townsfolk in falling down broken homes...

NO! It has to stop.

The ACTU calling the shots is not on, but pay for execs should be based on real profits, real performance.
