My employer is about to offer his small workforce a deal.(rumoured)
Ditch the union and he will offer the exact same agreement with slightly more money and sign us up for 4 years.
16% rise as opposed to 13%
The only difference is a 38 hour week instead of a 36.
Most people wouldn't think twice but the union have been negotiating on our behalf for six months or more.
Part of me feels guilty.
Is this dirty play by our boss?
