Now if a worker had went to the employer and said boss there is two guys doing this job and I can do the same with one, but I want want quarter of that persons wage to do this job now.
The employer would jump at the chance from people to show initiative. This is called Enterprise Bargaining Agreement,EBA which you can do without a union. This way the wage earner can get his pay rise and the employer cuts his overheads. A win win all round. And you would find other workers would do the same, only the lazy ones would be left looking thru the fence.
Ok he has to work a bit harder but you get something you can't do nothing. Everyone can not earn big money and you have to show some judgement in life to make ends meet.
