except that on the news, it seems that the minimum wage in america (ie USA) is about $7 per hour.
forget about workers thinking about buying a cadilac - working two jobs, and then still struggle to pay the rent, as well as provide food.
from memory, the unions are going to campaign for higher wages.
unions are needed - it is just that sometimes they go overboard.
and oh - by the way, why should governments bail out banks, who pay their management exorbitant wages/bonuses etc etc.
