A long time ago ,I learnt to stay away from stocks with light liquidity.
Unfortunately recently, I have been caught in the WBC shambles.
WBC was falling weeks before, the non compliance news came out.
Unfortunately for me with correlation models, that meant a buy.
KSL has redeeming fundamental qualities, which many writers refer to.
However KSL also has lack of liquidity, which means like all small liquidity stocks, it is open season, for larger players with sophisticated trading programs or better fundamental knowledge.
Which of these two factors is in play, is hard to judge.
As for the type of small liquidity stocks with no fundamentals, that Hot Copper punters, get enmeshed in (mining, tech)( just read the posts) etc.the wealth destruction over time must be enormous.
