Ok, we have some copper. But it looks like they are divesting to "focus on its oil and gas interests in Angola and Cameroon".
I also note the BHP link - Ian Egan. Not bad. Certainly not negative.
I stand by my comments with regards to BHP/Oil & Africa however.
And this divestment of copper makes any DIRECT (!!) BHP involvement less likely.
I say direct, as BHP may be interested in a 50% farm-in (or the like) in Fortitude -> of which i note that CVI is a 32.3% major holder (16.7mn/51.7mn).
Involment in Fortitude is possible -> but not directly with CVI imo.
Let me say that most juniors would be well satisfied with CIV's management. They are excellent imo. Very PRE-active. Very PR active/savy. Thats important and these guys seem to have nailed it (and i say that as a non-holder)
