Mate, ill be upfront and honest with you (and i hope your respect that).
But let me firslty say i think your great and one of HC best posters...clearly...imo
Ok you said:
"The "minerals" are further mentioned all the way though the post.
Did you actually read it before you responded?
I accept you may have misinterpreted it and I have no problem with that, but I suggest if you were being 100% honest here, you would admit your post was about more than just joining in for a discussion."
As i said, i dont really follow the company. But HC is full of CVI posts so like everyone here i enjoy reading the odd post or two. The thread you began was everywhere so i opened it up and had a read.
I only knew of CVI's oil assets in Angola and Cameroon, and didnt pick up on any reference to metals (until politely informed).
I'll be honest and will say that i did think you were plucking straws by suggesting that BHP would be interested in CVI's oil assets. I thought this was highly improbable - and explained my reasons.
But, upon learning of some of the metal assets, i think its possible. For however, those projects. Not the oil. I think a most accurate guess would be a BHP farm in the JR (where the copper is being divested/spun-off into).
So as i said, ill be honest, i though any inference that BHP was interested in CVI's oil was far fetched and rather absurd. Ill admit i didn't read your post closely enough. I clearly misinterpreted what you said. Thats all. I didnt know you were referring to metals.
Apologies. My bad.
And your reading too much into JRV. It was suss all along and thats what i said. It was traders. Thats how i saw it and thats what it looks like now (3 days later).
I wont bother posting here again. A good discussion was going but ill leave it for everyone else. I do think though that there are some very sensitive types on here. But thats fine.
"All's fair in love and war" but good luck
Cheers!
