    I suppose HC thread is boring if nothing is discussed , but I am left to ponder whether I am in a parallel universe , or something .
    We get led for 10 or 12 years , or so , by someone who spins us a big fat juicy yarn .We plod on , seeing the germ of something brilliant , but never quite seeing it materialise in reality .
    We exchange views along the way , some believers , and some questioners .
    We even see some of the more passionate , and vocal , swap camps along the journey ( with valid reason) .
    We conjointly arrive @ Port Bereft ....of money and ideas as how to bring the journey to a successful outcome .
    While we are in Port , many possible outcomes are speculated . A brilliant source tells me we are going to be rescued by Private Equity . I envisage that is probably a good outcome for us ...PE knows the value of a $ ; they only get involved if there are mega $$$$$$$ to be made ; they know how to turn a business around ;they will drive value ; they will have a Plan , with goals , targets/ KPIs ; and deliverables . They will know precisely who is responsible for what , and they won't take any shit .
    Voila ; it all takes too long , but we finally find out that we really are under the guidance of a PE type entity , we are preparing a Strategic Plan ( presumably to contain all of the above ) and have/are about to have a new Skipper and Leadership Team .
    Great I think , a start on a new refreshing journey ; to thoughtfully planned ; well communicated ; and reliably delivered . Man , won't that be a change from the past . Most will be delighted if we get some certainty about our business , our outlook and our achievements( outcomes ) .Gee , I reckon the market will like that a lot .
    I log on to HC and what do I find .
    Conspiracy theories from long-time staunch supporters of UNS ;
    and a malaise of uncertainty and doom-and-gloom .
    Sure as hell I don't know what has happened behind the scenes , but I can certainly see why change HAD TO HAPPEN . What was happening was not sustainable ....simple .
    I don't know what will happen , but I am very comfortable that something like that described above will emerge . Yep , it will not happen quick enough for me , but I believe that we will all be much better off for it .I will be happy with just a quarterly update if it reveals that management is hitting its targets and the business is steadily growing in value .
    The sp will take care of itself once we have a Business Plan in place , the expected outcomes are delivered , as promised and we have a real tangible operating business that can be measured ...not smoke and mirrors .
    If you don't believe that you shouldn't be here a moment longer imo ( including me ).
