When it comes to do online quotes for insurance for the complex we need to ring the insurance company as they don't do complexes online only over the phone. I will ring come Tuesday, being Monday is public holiday in QLD. What kind of expenses should i be prepared for? Real estate fees, managing the complex, body corp etc... Is it hard to self manage? Any info would be great so when I'm in discussions with parties I can have a vague idea of things.

I too am looking to invest in real estate. I know this may be a basic question - but, do you generate any revenue from your renting of the property before the mortgage has been paid off? or do you only allocate some rent revenue to paying off the mortgage?
