Just noticed a spelling mistake in thread title it is meant to be aprove not above - my bad - maybe a mod can change?
Melua - I agree, I dont see how this is going to work, only an idiot would dilute themselves to nothing, if i was a BBI ord holder I would rather stick it to the board.
The alternative of course is for the Cornerstone to throw away a couple of mill builing a stake, knowning that he will lose out on that small portion of the overall "play". I.e. Spend $10m buying BBI stock now (or whatever the figure is) to ensure it is approved, then chuck in the $1bn (the return on the bn obviously compensates for the loss on the $10m)
Im not sure on the Instos still holding BBI ord, but obviously if they see Mr Cornerstone saying we will dilute BBI ord then end up with X% of the company wouldnt the other Instos say they want in on the deal? complicating the matter further?
