SAN FRANCISCO, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Chip maker Vishay Intertechnology Inc. on Thursday warned that it will miss its previous sales and earnings outlook for the third quarter, citing broad weakness in demand during July and August.
The Malvern, Pennsylvania-based company said in a statement that it had previously targeted revenue and earnings that were flat from the second quarter. Results for the fourth quarter are expected to rise from the third quarter, it said.
