I am a member of assoc. have supplied hin to my three accounts. I can only see the benefit in the assoc. is they use your proxy and vote (which you can vote yourself if you inform them). No other communication comes through except for invites to yearly meet with RC. Assoc is a good way of using all the votes from holders who could not be bothered or do not understand the ramifications of not voting. Agree every-one should be in assoc. large and small holdings but the assoc. function as I see it cannot be fulfilled without hin numbers. My 1.4m odd now gets used in votes where before they never did. Supply HIN to assoc and then sit back for the ride.
