I gave the metaverse a go, but I'm not the youngest and it didn't stick with me either , although I am a poker fan
The only reason I went in was to see Unith (Crowd's) billboard.
The main point I take here is that in any event, we are Metaverse ready (see below)

Now this won't happen overnight, but it does speak to unicorn status & scale.
