Unfortunately if there is a takeover on the cards many greedy people that have been around this stock a long time will build up some large stakes at cheap prices and in some cases much cheaper than what they have sold out at and then accept a low ball offer and try get other shareholders to accept it on the basis of the huge premium to the current price.
Problem is they are so far winning in the game at keeping the price low and in the end long term shareholders could be me up having to accept a price that may end up being lower than their average price.
