OMI have a very attractive suit of medical devices.....a safety scalpel, safety syringe and an iv access valve, all of which have won Australian Design Awards.
They are starting to bring in some cash...this year they will make $US 4 to 5 million odd from the sales of their syringe through cardinal health.
Where to from here.....they have bloody great products, but mining etc is all the rage at the moment and no instos are buying as the market cap is small.
I hope that they expand into the EU, and would love to see them sell technology (like the IV access valve that they were going to sell to B Braun for 400 mil a few years ago).
Where do others see the company...i am still optimistic...while there are a few makers of safety syringes in the world, i think that OMI's product is better and can be made cheaper!!
Am hoping for more sales, or for a buyout of the company's intellectual property (like the valve).
