One thing that I always wondered about: companies, corporations, board, executive level, etc, they all have laws binding them to the interests of shareholders. Now I haven't read the Corporations Act yet but how can that make sense? Which shareholders? Shareholders today? Tomorrow? Existing shareholders? All shareholders? Institutional shareholders? Majority of shareholders and who cares about the last 10%? I cannot understand. Long term shareholders? Day trading shareholders?

I too believe even if he took full control of everything he would not be taking out coal any time soon. He and others will be looking to reap the huge discounts to the SP that they have themselves caused over the last X years. Another reason is, as you said, that our nation simply cannot allow it. Once you see that and TBH it's not very hard to see, maybe you too will think that AGL is a hold no matter if MCB fully succeeds or fully fails.

How do you define if Green Energy Jesus (GEJ ) has succeeded . We do not know what he and his henchmen are really up to.

What we do know is he needs higher prices
It will cost a lot of money so massive Cap. Ex. and no dividend are a start
