no idea mate...usually the quarterly is released on the last day in the morning, so I was expecting it yesterday. Matt doesn't come across as a person who forgets to lodge the paperwork, so I'm assuming some strategy in play.
I am expecting the quarterly to be positive (not a game changer, but consistent cash inflows with last quarter and the R&D rebate), so I thought they'd release late yesterday to ensure whoever wants to be out in a rush goes out quickly rather than using the positiveness of the quarterly as a launching pad for exit. Purely speculation, I might be completely wrong!
If they don't lodge it by Mon morning, I believe ASX will forcefully suspend trading...is this intentional as well? who knows?
The volumes off late indicate some chunky lots are changing hands, probably that's why someone liked your comment, I wouldn't read too much into it. As per my calcs, the series A,B,C rounds and convertible notes were issued near (and slightly above) the current share price, so I don't think all the original investors (remember Matt is also an investor, holding 25% approx through Yuuwa) would let the company go cheaply. They have an excellent product in a niche market with almost 100% renewal rates, IP and patents fully owned, good reputation among distributors (Chubb etc) and a clean register. I can understand why someone with deep pockets, especially who can market it rapidly, could see this company as a bolt-on acquisition though.
All speculation, probably nothing like this going on...possibly someone simply selling and others simply buying
