The SDL sp is surely dreadful right now, but there is money in the bank to rise out the turbulence.

The most important thing right now is for GJ to maintain dialog with China and not simply fall into the arms of Glencore and the other mob.

I lived throgh a similar moment with FMG in the midst of the Chinese destocking masscare last year.

Incidentally, FMG is by far my biggest investment bought in the middle GFC.

Everyone was baying for blood. Every trader website, hedge fund and instos (almost universally) were saying FMG must massive dilute to raise capital ASAP (as they were all shorting the stock to oblivion).

The newspapers (Fairfax in particular with that Chinese dude) kept on-and-on about "The Spent Force in Iron Ore" after the company's motto "The Next Force of Iron Ore". They said anyday would be FMG's last.

Hedge funds hunt in packs and use hire-a-pen in the media to peddle the fear.
