Saltocan and all, JP probably referring to the "drilling contract between Transocean and Cairn that may be cancelled".......not the actual tenement lease. I,m sure there would be a clause in there somewhere.
That being said.......where would they get another rig from to continue?? Rigs are at a premium at the moment. With all the costs involved and such a prospective well, my guess is they will work through it to target depth....its just going to take longer than expected....
