As in my prior post, it is the bots pressing the cut positions trigger, they will prime back into action like a mower cutting the grass in the summer. You can't keep going in the buy orders otherwise you will be way over limits with too much Sharpe risk, so you use the flat to pull the positions back b4 another go upon the next movement.
Algos r just like lawnmowers, the grass is probably the day traders without any projections. The fuel is record low interest rates, a low priced market and plenty of capital looking for something to do with itself.
