We have accurate data spanning 40.5 years. That's it, that is our reference point. If you use reconstructions, this warming isn't anywhere near previous warming episodes.
But what is most impressive is how the climate rapidly changed during the last glacial maximum, and CO2 didn't move. Pretty impressive disappearing act, after all I knew it was magical. 12 - 22 metre sea level rise in 3 centuries.
Looks like it better get a move on, the 10 mm over the last 100 years will only need to increase by about 2000 times the current sea level rise rate to match it.
