...Obtuse, Dim, Naive, Stupid, ... there are many words that could be used to descibe the recent events surrounding AVM and the suspension it received from the ASX for failing to submit a Qtly report within the required timeframe but perhaps the best choice is: "amateurish /am-uh-tuh-rish/ adj. unskilful; inexperienced". This truly sums up the embarrassing performance displayed by AVM's management in recent times.

Their stubborn unwillingness to inform the market about problems (e.g.the excess overburden material); their inexperience and naivety during the Kilwa incident; their inability to prepare a Qtly report on time; the list goes.

The next time someone asks: "why is AVM undervalued?", they would do well to consider that while AVM has enormous potential it is managed by amateurs who have little or no experience in running a company and those who do have experience are obviously inept.
