whilst there's clearly some argument about keeping repeat offenders away from citizens
unfortunately - it takes away from real solutions - real solutions would be to look at why the society has such violent antisocial peanuts in such numbers in the first place
it's a violent culture
you see it in Oz - you see it in the UK - you do not see it as much - nowhere near it in many (most) European nations
there's one thing to try to fix a problem you already have -------- it's another thing to make it that you don't have the problem in the first place
