    Taxing unrealised capital gains is a brilliant move by the socialists.

    I have no doubt that the tax will now be applied to individuals, only the rich of course, as a fairness measure.

    Of course the threshold at which it is applied isn't indexed so almost everyone will end up paying it. Even more brilliant; the tax itself doesn't consider inflation, so if assets merely keep up with inflation they are still taxed.

    It's a brilliant Wealth Tax that will level society out. No need for a Death Tax, this will do that job too.
