    The difference between stocks and crypto of course is that stocks have a calculable intrinsic value, even if that calculated value for some companies is close to zero, or zero itself.

    To a true investor in businesses (i.e. one who looks at fundamentals) market manipulation has no real negative effect on his investment. It might actually benefit the true investor by providing an opportunity to buy at a bargain price or sell at an overblown price.

    Crypto however has NO calculable value. Warren Buffett calls it 'rat poison' and Charlie Munger has today called crypto 'an open sewer'.

    So who cares if there's manipulation and trickery? Sewer rats?
