Must admit, I had to re-read the announcement today to remain confident. I think the most import takeaways for me are the timeline.

2nd Dec 2015 - Unilife and Amgen enter into a Master Feasibility and Customization Agreement

31st Dec 2015 - Unilife and Amgen enter into a Material Definitive Agreement

Amgen have clearly done their homework and decided Unilife have technology they want/need. We'll find out in the next few days
1 - How they want to structure their deal(s) with Unilife and
2 - What they are willing to pay for it

I don't think exclusive licensing for the 1ml technologies and future enhancement will be cheap.
