Best thing to do is have the exact same device as your main competitor...same regulatory risks, same user awareness...higher production volumes likely to result in cheaper unit price....
I posted several years ago Amgen were marching down the LCM road with Enbrel well before Abbvie thought about moving. Amgen trialed a new electromechanical , reusable autoinjector that warms Enbrel a year or so ago and there hasnt been much market movement since the trial. Could be the program was shelved and the Unifill-Lisa combo now being a potential candidate for that same LCM program for Enbrel.
Some pictures i saw indicated that the trialled device was based on the Aira AID developed by Cambridge Consultants...a boy can dream
