I am a UNS tragic and follow and study this stock as if I was doing distance university learning without a textbook and the mechanics of shorting alludes me, but it appears that they ramp the stock up on low volume (last couple of months) 40 to 70 cent and currently 57cents, but they need a trigger to force a sustained SP fall and this has been provided by Seeking Alpha types in the past. I believe AS has provided ammunition for a negative article because of the stated low cash balance. If you are an article contributor to SA you get any articles 3 days before publication and this allows a co ordinated approach with the aim to trigger the set computer sell stops and force computer selling.
At this stage I believe that shorters are doing us a big favour because UNS future has never been so clear and so to be able to buy them cheaper is a true gift
