I was reading a newsfeed this morning and I happened upon an article about quantum computing. The article is based on a publication in Nature Nanotechnology by a group from UNSW. They have formed a startup called “Diraq”. The paper itself can be seen at: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41565-022-01280-4
If the link fails the paper is titled “On demand electrical control of spin qubits.”
The worrying thing for me was that they commented that their technique could lead to the use of multiple qubits on silicon CMOS chips, which I thought is similar to what Archer is trying to do.
I wonder if Mohammed and his team are aware of this other work?
Comments from those with a better understanding than me (= everyone) welcome.
