Untameable Yandera
Wednesday, 17 October 2012
STRONG drilling results are justifying the delays to Marengo Mining’s Yandera project feasibility study this year, with recent finds including a 165m intersection grading 1.08% copper from just 42m down.

This came from a hole in the Omora zone, which also notched up 381 parts per million molybdenum. The standout diamond core hit from the Gremi zone was a 186m intersection at 0.89% copper and 232ppm moly from 96m down the hole.
The best result from the Imbruminda zone was a 270m intersection at 0.8% copper and 264ppm moly, which started from 87m down the hole.
This included an impressive 36m interval at 1.46% copper and 148ppm moly from a depth of 105m.
The feasibility study results for this world-class project in Papua New Guinea are expected to be announced by October 31.
