So what I think you are suggesting is that interest rate rises alone will be the cause for higher rents, is this right?
I think you will find that landlords currently charge as high as the market can bear, it not a fact that landlords can simply pass on costs to tenants. If the rent goes up past the tenant's ability to pay then they will move out.
