It could be an attempt to create the illusion that the stock is trading at a higher volume or it could also be a glitch in the source system whereby they only wanted to ping one singe-share trade but instead it just kept on looping. No idea what the real reason is but it has stopped now and the corresponding strange buys at 0.17 have gone also. Whoever it was has moved on but as to their motives - unsure.
