ASX trading goes into pre-open at 4pm, and the end of day auction continues through until 4.10 sharp,similar to the bidding that goes on between 10am & 10.10am If you are desperate to buy or sell certain shares, you just need to make sure you have placed the highest or lowest bid respectively, and you will be assured of either buying or selling those shares.The price you pay can be lower than your bid & the selling price can be higher than your offer.
