The Israelis will always be attacked whether they are occupying or being occupied.

What Israel is doing is important. They have handled this situation very well imo, not perfect , but well.

What they have done has caused a few things, that typical pacifist citizens of the west will never understand.

Obviously the first achievement is sending further signals to surrounding Arabs nations that it will be punished if they want to provoke war. You can see from history that Arabs need to hear the message repeatedly to understand. Fair enough.

Secondly, Hamas has obviously been weakened. They have used up all their supplies i.e. rockets. Before provocation, in the year 2008, Hamas sent 3000+ rockets into Israel. Now during this war the daily rockets attacks have decreased from 70 to less than 5.

Thirdly. If Hamas want to attack Israel again, the world will know that Hamas will be held fully responsible for all future civilian deaths. Hamas should know now how Israel reacts in wars.

Another point to make is that Hamas has realised that after Iran it has no friends.

Lastly, any one comparing this war to the real Holocaust is not just wrong but stupid. I dont need to explain anything on this bit.

Hopefully ive put this in simple terms for some delusioned Hamas/Palestinian supporters (same thing) to understand
