Omicron is "the most different and novel form of COVID." It is slightly weaker than delta , hence less deaths per case , which we ARE seeing . Vaccination also helping prevent deaths . Data is all there ...I'm not stating anything that isn't widely accepted .
Based on these things omicrron IMO , handled carefuly , is our chance to "normalise" our response to COVID and attain herd immunity . NSW and Vic attaining this , the hard way !
The risk .... that COVID changes drastically again to another form different to omicron . In that case some protection but incomplete .
