Yes, Cbus is not reliable in buildings with thick walls, it is transmitted via radio frequency signals.
SKG use D-link and they had problems transmitting data from room to room years ago.
This is why SKG applied for a licence to transmit data through the buildings existing powerlines (to over come the problems that RFS has).
The Cbus system is expensive and does not solve mutli dwelling problems, in-fact it can also be unreliable in residential homes unless to set up a chain of transmitters to eliminate all of the RFS black spots.
Their product is limited in it's applications and is no threat to SKG's current model or range of solutions.
