SKG is part of the home automation evolution, once they have a solid revenue streams coming in from the Highrise model, they will start to expand into the residential market.
It's a market that will only get bigger from here ;-)

Just about every question you have raised, has been discussed in depth over a year ago on varoius chat forums.
The fact that you cite Cbus as a serious competitor says it all about your depth of knowledge on this subject.
If some one comes out with a smarter technology, the chances are they will approach SKG to distribute it.
