I analysed COH in quite a lot of detail about five years ago. Back then it seemed that there was an unwritten agreement by the directors that they would give about 20% of NPAT to management in the form of options. If any didn't get profitably exercised they would give them more next time etc.
I obviously have no inside knowledge - but the amount of NPAT going to management was striking. I always knock 20% off NPAT to get a realistic picture of how the business is going. However things may have changed since I did my analysis.
