UOA DEVELOPMENT BHD POSTS PRE-TAX PROFIT OF RM577.9 MILLION FOR FY 2013
Kuala Lumpur, 26 February 2014 - UOA Development Bhd (“UOA” or “UOA ??????”) today announced its financial results for the financial year ended 31 December 2013.
Revenue for the 12 months ended 31 December 2013 increased to a record high of approximately RM1.25 billion, marking approximately 56% increase in comparison to RM799.2 million in the preceding year. Profit before tax improved to RM577.9 million from RM414.2 million in the previous year.
UOA also recorded total new sales of RM2.02 billion for the financial year 2013 with strong sales contribution by completed projects - Binjai 8 in Kuala Lumpur city centre and The Horizon Boutique Office Towers in Bangsar South; on-going development projects One@Bukit Ceylon in Kuala Lumpur city centre, Desa Green in Taman Desa, Scenaria at North Kiara Hills, South View Serviced Apartments, The Vertical Office Suites in Bangsar South and Kencana Square in Subang.
UOA maintains a strong balance sheet position with cash equivalent of RM806.1 million as at 31 December 2013.
